About us

We are F11 Group — a collective of photographers connected by friendship, a shared obsession with the craft, and a healthy scepticism of the obvious shot. The name goes back to our beginnings, when there were eleven of us. Members have come and gone since, but the name stuck. Some things are worth keeping.

We didn't come together through a club or a course. We found each other the way most good creative partnerships do — through conversation, through shared frustrations, and through realising we were all quietly asking the same questions about photography and what it's actually for.

Beauty in the Mundane is our most focused collective project to date. But the instinct behind it — to look harder at the world that's already in front of us — is one we've each been following independently for years.
